Dr David Choluj

Dr David Choluj is a Consultant Neurologist with a further extensive experience in Stroke Medicine and Neurological Rehabilitation, based in London.

Dr Choluj was trained and worked as a consultant neurologist in Motol University Hospital in Prague (Czech Republic, EU), which is one of the most prestigious and largest teaching hospitals in middle Europe. After moving to the UK, he continued to expand his clinical skills further at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in London, in the areas of neurological rehabilitation and neurological disability management.

His special clinical interests in Neurology are mainly in Multiple Sclerosis, Headache, Dementia and Parkinson’s diseases. In Neurorehabilitation, he focuses mostly on Spasticity/Complex Neuro-disability Management and Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDOC). Dr Choluj combines his multidisciplinary experiences to provide truly holistic, comprehensive and individually tailored services for patients with complex neurological disorders from the initial phase of diagnosis followed by services for patients with residual or progressive neurological disability management needs.

In Neurorehabilitation, he focuses mostly on Spasticity/Complex Neuro-disability Management and Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDOC). Dr Choluj’s primary medical qualification was gained at the 1st Medical School at the Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic, EU). Dr Choluj completed his medical training and worked as a consultant in Neurology and Stroke Medicine at the Motol University Hospital in Prague, which is one of the largest and most renowned teaching hospitals in middle Europe.

In 2013 Dr Choluj moved to the UK to expand his complex neurological experience further in the fields of rehabilitation and neurological disability management. Firstly, working for Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge and later for the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability in London. Both hospitals belong to the most re-known institutions in rehabilitation and neurological disability management in the world.
