Dr Singhai trained at Kings College London. He completed his higher specialist training in the North East London region which provided excellent training in a broad range of geriatric and general internal medicine. Dr Singhai’s main area of interest and expertise is in the management of Parkinson’s disease, especially neuropsychiatric and cognitive problems. As lead of the Parkinson’s service at the Homerton Hospital, Dr Singhai worked on developing an innovative and more integrated patient centred service, which is crucial when managing people with Parkinson’s who have both motor and a variety of non motor problems.His work in the area of Parkinson’s Disease has been recognised as an example of best practice by Parkinson’s UK. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in 2016 which is recognition of excellence and innovation in the field of medicine. He is also a Royal College Examiner and sits regularly on Consultant Interview Panels as the Royal College Representative.
