Iana Trichkova – Qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist

Iana has gained experience at various counselling organizations across London, focussing on mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, interpersonal problems, loss and bereavement, eating disorders, substance misuse, sexuality, etc.
In terms of specific theoretical interests, Iana has done research on working with sexually abused clients. Currently she is doing a PhD researching sexuality in counselling and psychotherapy through the University of Roehampton
Iana aims to provide a safe, confidential and compassionate space where clients can explore what troubles them without fear of being judged or rejected. She sees psychotherapeutic counselling as a collaborative process which facilitates increased understanding and self-awareness, greater self-acceptance and more fulfilling relationships with others and life in general.
