Vascular Dementia

A person can develop vascular dementia after a stroke blocks an artery in his brain, but strokes don’t always cause vascular dementia. Whether a stroke affects your thinking and reasoning depends on your stroke’s severity and location.

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS)

Is a group of conditions caused by loss of cells mainly in the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. The main symptoms are a progressive change in personality and behaviour or progressive deterioration in language abilities.

Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD)

Lewy Body Dementia

Is the second most common type of progressive dementia after Alzheimer’s. Protein deposits, called Lewy bodies, develop in nerve cells in the brain regions causing problems like those seen in AD.

Dystonia

Dystonias are neurological movement disorders affecting different part of the body, and cause involuntary muscle contractions. Cervical dystonia is the most common focal dystonia and it affects about 40,000 of people in UK per year.

Is considered the most common neurologic movement disorder. ET is a chronic condition characterized by involuntary, rhythmic shaking of a body part, most typically the hands and arms.
