Dr Kish Mankad MRCP FRCR serves Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children as Clinical Lead for Neuroradiology. He specialises in all nuances of diagnostic Paediatric Neuroradiology, with particular subspecialty interests in neuro-oncology, trauma, acquired brain injury, brain and spine malformations and neuroinflammation. He is affiliated with the University College London as Honorary Associate Professor in Neuroradiology and apart from a strong academic profile with several textbooks, book chapters and over 170 research publications to his name, he also holds a stupendous international education and training portfolio having established several respected educational courses across the world. Apart from Medicine and Radiology, Dr Mankad has a significant Leadership and Management vertical with an essential MBA qualification from the London School of Economics, formal training as Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma and a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Healthcare Management.

Dr Mankad provides a timely, accurate and responsible medicolegal expert service to family and criminal court cases across UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand in all Neuroradiology cases, but specifically in cases pertaining to birth injuries, childhood trauma and suspected abusive head trauma (non-accidental head injury). Dr Mankad is officially associated with all the leading Neuroradiology, Pediatric Neuroradiology and Paediatric Radiology organisations of the world. As a member of the International Outreach Committee member of the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology (ASPNR) he has set up the very well received International Pediatric Neuroradiology Teaching Network. As a committee member of the pediatric subcommittee of the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR) he is involved actively in all educational activities of the society. He is also on the Pediatric Neuroradiology and Fetal Radiology task forces of the European Society of Pediatric Radiology (ESPR). Within the UK, he has been instrumental in setting up the British Paediatric Neuroimaging Group under the auspices of the BSNR.
